COVID-19 Safety Protocols
We have implemented enhanced infection control protocols above and beyond the policies we already have in place, created new patient flows to adhere to physical distancing guidelines and procured the necessary protective equipment to keep all of our patients and staff safe.
We are reopened. Any urgent dental needs please give us a call. We will take you first. Also we will contact you to reschedule your missed appointment.
Before your next visit, we wanted to highlight to you some of the changes we have made to further protect your health. Here is some new safety protocols we have put in place:
Patient Screening
When you book an appointment and the day before your appointment, we will call you to perform a ‘Pre-Appointment Screening’, for the purpose of determining if you have any COVID-19 symptoms before arriving at our office. Some question will be asked like travel history.
Patient Protection Station
At the front entrance, we’ve added a ‘Patient Protection Station’, which includes hand sanitizer and face masks for your use. If possible we would like you wear your mask and Sunglass. After each appointment, we will clean, disinfect and sterilize the operatory, instruments and all surfaces.
Interaction Limits
We will ask you to wait in your vehicles or outside the office until we text or call you for your appointment.
At our reception desks, we’ve installed plexiglass barriers and placed ‘Stand Here’ markers on the ground away from the desk to encourage physical distancing. We recommend you to touch fewer surfaces as much as you can.
Physical Distancing
In our waiting room, we have removed all chairs for seating. If you have special needs please inform us beforehand. We will make things ready for you. Please try keep 2 metres distance.
Staff Monitoring
In addition to these new protocols, our staff will continuously self-monitor for any symptoms (fever with either cough or sore throat, or muscle aches) they may experience and will quarantine for the mandatory 14 days in the event they are ill.
Your Comfort Is Our Concern. If at any time, you feel unsure of the new protocols, feel free to ask us about the proper procedures. We will also post signs in specific areas to help guide you through the new process. Also your suggestion is welcome.
If any of these protocols need change according to health office, we may need to reschedule your care. We will contact you directly. In the meantime, if you have an urgent need please reach out to us via phone. Please note that our hours may fluctuate as we adapt our schedule for the new safety protocols and patient demand. But your message will be monitored. We will get back to you ASAP.
Our goal is to provide you with the dental care you need in a safe and comfortable environment. |
